About Me

Hi, I'm Nadia Russell, a photographer based in Nassau, The Bahamas. Photography has always been my passion since I first discovered it as a child using my mother's vintage olympus SLR. Since then, I've developed my passion from a passtime to a career!

I specialize in weddings and events, portraits of people; headshots, modeling portfolios, promotional photos for bands and performers, . When I work with people, whether it's for professional portraits, headshots, or fine art pieces, my goal is to allow them to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. It is only then that I can capture what it is that makes that person special or unique.

I do assorted other kinds of photography as well, including commercial and architectural work. My portfolio also includes artistic and conceptual fine art photos that I show at exhibitions. In all cases, I strive to show the essence of my subject, as concisely as possible.

I shoot mostly shoot on location, however, studio sessions can be arranged.

Hair and Makeup

Even if you do your own hair and makeup every day, I recommend that you hire a professional for your photos. The pros know how to get your look "just right" for the camera. Makeup for photography is slightly different and requires more perfection than everyday makeup. Here in Nassau, cost vary, though the price is generally around $175 per look per person for this service.
